History
In history classes at EHS, students become active participants and change agents in their community, nation, and world. With increasing rigor and a high level of support, courses build abilities in close reading of significant historical sources, engaging discussions and debates of critical social issues, and student-directed writing, research, and collaborative project skills. Our faculty use a variety of multimedia approaches to bring historical concepts alive, deepen student inquiry, and empower students to use their knowledge of the past and their understanding of the present to contribute to a more equitable future.
