Strengthening Skills through an Integrated Approach
In grades 9-11, students take math classes that follow an integrated curriculum, blending topics in algebra, geometry, and statistics designed to help them make connections across concepts. An integrated approach more closely aligns with real-world application of mathematics concepts and allows students to build a deeper understanding of how math is used in everyday life. In addition to blending topics, this integrated approach is also built around student collaboration and grouping, ensuring that students are given space for critical thinking and authentic problem solving.
In grade 12, students have the option to choose from several elective courses including math seminar, statistics and AP calculus.
