The English High School in Jamaica Plain, founded in 1821, is now in its sixth location. Located close to public transportation, The Arboretum, The Franklin Park Zoo, and the MDC, it is a truly unique, urban school serving a diverse population of over 1,200 students from several countries. In 1972 the school admitted its first female students.

	Abigail Adams Scholarship winners announced Seven of The English High School's most talented scholars were awarded the prestigious John & Abigail Adams Scholarship for scoring at the very top of the advanced MCAS bracket.

	EHS Varsity Volleyball 3-Year City Championship Streak The ladies of the Varsity Volleyball team have done it again! For three consecutive years, the birls in blue have claimed the top spot in the BPS City Championship Tournament.
